The 360 version of <b>Guitar Hero II<\/b> will come with it\u00b4s own specifically designed wireless-guitar-controller, <i>the X-plorer<\/i>, modelled on the <i>Gibson Explorer<\/i>.<br \/>\nExcited by the announcement, Red Octane\u00b4s Head of Publishing Dusty Welsh commented, <i>&#8221;With it\u00b4s large integrated hard drive, Xbox 360 provides an incredible platform for facilitating downloadable content.&#8221;<\/i> He continued, <i>&#8221;We believe there is no better title to feature micro-transactions than a music game like Guitar Hero II, where the content is the basis of your experience. The relationship with the Xbox Live Marketplace creates endless possibilities for exclusive content.&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Guitar Hero II is to be released for the Playstation 2 this holiday season. However, the 360 version\u00b4s release date remains unclear, so there still is time to grow your hair out for some moshing action. Guitar Hero II, as well as the X-plorer, will be present on the ongoing <b>X06<\/b> showfloor in Barcelona.
