Sony\u00b4s third installment of the successful Playstation series has oversold Microsoft\u00b4s Xbox 360 in the land of the rising sun. Xbox 360 has sold 180 000 copies during its year\u00b4s stay in Japan, whereas Playstation 3 achieved 190 000 in a month. If this weren\u00b4t enough, Sony\u00b4s newest console would have probably sold more if it wasn\u00b4t for their problems in providing enough consoles to the market.
