EA<\/i> and Valve<\/i> announced some information on the upcoming Half-Life 2, Portal,<\/i> and Team Fortress 2<\/i> packages for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. The watchamacallsit<\/i>-packages have suffered long without a single name and EA with Valve have at long last issued some painkillers. The console package, including Half-Life 2, Episode I & II<\/i>, Portal, and Team Fortress 2, has been christened the Orange Box<\/b>. The PC pack is called the Black Box<\/i>.
\nAccording to EA, the boxes have lost the Half-Life moniker, since they are a compilation of different games. From a sales point of view this decision seems questionable. Furthermore, it seems that the boxes have been pushed back to a Fall 2007 release, at which time they will most likely compete with some minor games, such as Halo 3<\/i>, Grand Theft Auto 4<\/i>, and Metal Gear Solid 4<\/i>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
