{"id":8575,"date":"2007-03-24T20:51:16","date_gmt":"2007-03-24T18:51:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.livegamers.fi\/uutiset\/graw-2-seized-in-mexico\/"},"modified":"2007-03-24T20:51:16","modified_gmt":"2007-03-24T18:51:16","slug":"graw-2-seized-in-mexico","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.livegamers.fi\/uutiset\/graw-2-seized-in-mexico\/","title":{"rendered":"GRAW 2 Seized in M\u00e9xico"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2<\/i> has yet again caused political strife as Mexican governor <b>Jos\u00e9 Reyes Baeza Terrazas<\/b> orders a seizure campaign to prevent the game from being sold and distributed.<br \/>\nThe game is set in the city of Ju\u00e1rez in M\u00e9xico and in El Paso, Texas in the year 2014, and it depicts U.S. elite soldiers fighting rebels in M\u00e9xico that is torn by civil war. Ju\u00e1rez is later occupied by the U.S. Army.<\/p>\n<p>Ju\u00e1rez lies in the Mexican-American border in the state of Chihuahua. Terrazas, governor of Chihuahua, feels that GRAW 2 is an insult to Ju\u00e1rez and the entire country. He has requested that the federal government take actions against the game, but so far they have not acted on the matter. Currently the Chihuahuan officials are gathering information on the distributors and reproducers, as well as the retailers of GRAW 2 in order to better plan their seizure campaign.
