Video game developer and publisher Capcom has announced that it has licensed Unreal Engine 3 for an unannounced project being developed in North America.
”More than just a graphics engine, Unreal Engine 3 will empower the development team to create the quality experience that gamers expect from a Capcom product”, said Capcom´s Mark Beaumont, executive vice president, officer and head of Capcom consumer software publishing in the Americas and Europe.
Recently Activision revealed similar plans regarding Unreal Engine 3. The game engine has powered such games as Epic Games´ Gears of War and Ubisoft´s Rainbow Six: Vegas.
