Electronic Arts Redwood Shores studio has announced massive, open ended RPG Project Gray Company. Executive Producer states that game will have ”incredible simulation AI” and ”powerful new story mechanics” all backed by ”an all-star team of RPG veterans”.
”Our goal is to deliver an experience that allows the player to be the hero in an expansive open world setting. We hope to provide a world rich in activities and options for the player so each persons play experience is unique and crafted to their play style. As RPG gamers we are excited about playing our game and hope others will be too,” EA commented about the scope of the project.
Previously EA announced its bigger concentration on unlicensed, original games in the future. The new project can be also seen as a counter-strike against the oh-so popular The Elder Scrolls series.
Project Gray Company will be released for Xbox 360 and PS3. No official release date was given, but we´ll defenitely see more at E3 next month. In the meantime, check the official website.
