Mark Rein, vice president of Epic Games, has revealed that free update for Gears of War has been sent for certification. This update will fix most of the glitches and also provide support for 720p resolution for VGA users. Update also contains a brand new multiplayer mode.
Developers hope that they have now fixed most of the known glitches in the game. According to rumours the new multiplayer mode, called Annex, is like Capture the Flag, which is familiar from other games.
Game update is now going through the certification process and if all comes up well, the update will be available on Xbox Live in the near future.
