Mere weeks from when Capcom boasted their revived Street Fighter II as being the fastest selling title ever for Xbox Live Arcade, SNK Playmore steps up to claim their piece of the pie.
To be unveiled at next month´s Tokyo Game Show, classic fighter Fatal Fury Special (a.k.a Garou Densetsu Special), will be SNK Playmore´s Xbox Live Arcade debut. This presents gamers with a slight case of déjà vu as Fatal Fury was Street Fighter´s toughest competitor over a decade ago. The revived titles will now be taking their rivalry online, battling not for your coin(s) but for you Microsoft Points.
Hopefully, the future success of Fatal Fury Special will inspire SNK Playmore to bring more of it´s classic properties, like Metal Slug, Samurai Showdown or King of Fighters, onto the Marketplace.
