Yesterday´s Wall Street Journal told that LucasArts is at work at creating a new Star Wars IP based on their E3 06 techdemo.
LucasArts CEO Jim Ward helps shed some light on the upcoming game. Most likely situated between Star Wars Episode III – The Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars Episode IV – A New Hope, the new game is said to tie together the two Star Wars trilogies and fill plot holes.
The game is planned for release next year, but no concrete details have been released as of yet.
