Taiwanese device manufacturer Wistron is likely to halt production of Xbox 360 during 2008.
Wistron is likely to discontinue manufacturing of the console due to the decline of profits and because Microsoft has partnered with rival manufacturer Celistica. Microsoft has not commented on the issue.
Xbox 360 has currently three different manufacturers. Besides Wistron, Xbox 360 is also manufactured by Celistica and Flextronics.
